Our 1-2-1 Client of the Month for MAY – NIKKI!
Nikki started training with us at Ocean Fit back in August 2017 and has been with us every since. She has one of the most memorable first sessions and I remember setting up a circuit nearer the end and seeing how she responded…not very well.
Since then she has progressed tremendous amounts and is one of our most advanced clients, not long ago she was did her first snatch. Her strength and ability is constantly improving and is ALWAYS full of enthusiasm and passionate about each session. She has consistently attended sessions 2x per week since starting and it has really paid off.
She really deserves this recognition and is a true pleasure to work along side.

When did you Start and why?
I started at the end of August last year because I realised I needed to start looking after myself more. I had done very little exercise most of my adult life and was unfit, overweight and unhealthy and needed to start doing something about it before it was too late.
I really enjoy knowing I’m constantly improving and that feeling at the end of a session when you just feel great.
What made you choose Ocean Fit:
I chose Ocean Fit as I was looking for somewhere local and not a standard ‘gym’ which have always intimidated me. I did some research and was really impressed with Ocean Fit and the feedback the clients gave. After speaking to Aaron I knew 1-2-1 sessions with him was the solution. Best decision I’ve made in a long time!
What is your biggest achievement?
Biggest achievement I think is the progress I’ve made with squats which Aaron has really helped me improve my technique with, although there is still room for improvement.
What is your favourite exercise or move & why?
Favourite exercise is probably pad work as it always de-stresses me after a tough day at work punching those pads or bag.
What is your LEAST favourite exercise & why
Least favourite is definitely burpees of any type – the B word makes me shudder!
Would you recommend us to a friend and why?
Absolutely I’ve already recommended Ocean Fit to a friend and am still trying to persuade her that she should bite the bullet and just sign up.
Whats your favourite thing to cook?
My favourite thing to cook is griddled chicken breast with a Cajun spice mix served with sweet potato wedges and steamed greens – really simple to do.
Describe Ocean Fit in 1 sentence:
Ocean Fit is the best thing to happen to me health-wise and I love my sessions. Aaron is fantastic always encouraging me to do more and he has created a friendly, welcoming studio which he constantly strives to keep improving. (Which is technically two sentences but I can’t do it justice in just one.)
Nikki os constantly achieving in her sessions and really does work hard.
