Thank you to all of you lovely lot (I have no idea who) who nominated Ocean Fit in Whitley bay for the Spirit of North Tyneside award. This was a fantastic envelope to open on Monday morning from North Tyneside Business Forum 

I am over the moon with this recognition. I don’t want to blow my own trumpet but I feel i have truly tried my hardest to keep all of our members moving this year despite everything thrown our way.

It is my priority to make ure our members are moving well, frequently and with intent. This year has thrown many obstacles, some that seemed impossible to work with but we did it.

Although Ocean Fit was not shortlisted it still means a lot to be recognised.

We have not put in all of the hard work, hours and efforts to be awarded.We do it because that is the service we offer and we genuinely want all of our members to get the most out of that service.
