MAY’S CLIENT OF THE MONTH – LUCY!
…Well it was only a matter of time…
Lucy joined us on our Body Confidence Programme back in January. I remember the initial conversation shred before she started with us and told us about what she had already achieved just down to more controlled eaten and was now ready to some some serious exercise.
She mentioned that she had never been to a ‘Gym’ before so I immediately knew she was going to have the best first experience.
Lucy is an absolute credit to Ocean Fit and our Indoor Fit Camp Programme. From day one she has brought so much extra energy and personality to the sessions. Her approach to exercise from session 1 to now is just incredible, there is never a rep missed or a second wasted in any session and because of this she has shown so fantastic physical results as well.
Lucy is always one of the first to sessions and hasn’t missed one since January..Even throughout the Body Confidence Programme in January she completed all 30/30 sessions. Top work!
She is consistent, enthusiastic and committed.
When did you Start and why?
I started in January as part of the six week Body Confidence Programme, I was looking to start my fitness journey as a total newbie. I loved the experience so much I stayed on as part of the indoor fit camp and I’ve been most days ever since.
What do you enjoy the most over all about taking part?
I really enjoy that no two sessions are ever the same so it never ever gets boring. Everyday I look forward to seeing all of the other members too, there’s always a lush team spirit at the studio which I think is really special.
What made you choose Ocean Fit?
I’d never been to a gym before starting here and was terrified but the idea of a small, local studio really appealed to me. I decided to stay on after the Body Confidence Programme as the sessions are always so fun and varied and I’ve met some amazing people who really inspire me to work harder each day.
What is your favourite exercise or move & why?
My favourite session is probably when we do the card game, I’m so surprised as I HATED it the first time and used to live in fear of seeing that pack of cards but now I really love it! It’s great to see how much my fitness has improved over time as I’m able to get the reps in a bit quicker with each game.
What is your LEAST favourite exercise & why?
Burpees because they never get any easier sadly!
Would you recommend us to a friend and why?
Definitely, everyone at Ocean Fit is so incredibly supportive and with that you can achieve things you never thought possible!
Whats your favourite thing to cook?
I really can’t cook so actively avoid it!
What is your biggest achievement to date?
Completing all 30/30 sessions during the six week Body Confidence Programme something I never thought I’d be able to do! I actually cried after my very first session because I didn’t think I could manage another one but here I still am!

‘Joining in January was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I’ve achieved so much in such a short space of time and had loads of fun while doing so. I can’t thank Aaron and Brianne enough for everything they do and I feel so lucky to be part of such a great team at Ocean Fit’ ❤️
