Before we kick this one off, I just want to put out there that I have taken some of this from a cool little video I watched recently.

A bunch of great reasons why you should be drinking a lot more water each day. The below is based on drinking 2-3L of water per day for 4 weeks.

Something I strive to do but very easily neglect!

1. You will get clearer skin.
Toxins which lead to pimples and inflammation will be flushed out of the body. Whenever I find myself with a nasty spot I know its fine to get plenty water into the body and eat a extra fruit – It normally clears up a right treat!

2. It will wake you right up.
Forget the coffee, one of the main reasons for tiredness and fatigue is dehydration.
Grab a bottle of water next time!

3. It can help you lose weight.
Drinking a glass of water before a meal will fill you up which will reduce your hunger. It is as easy as that!

4 .You will have fewer wrinkles.
Dehydrated skin is prone to wrinkles so having a healthy water balance will smooth out your skin.

5. Your Liver will function better.
 Your liver purifies your blood and functions even better if you get plenty fluids.  

6. You will get less muscle pain.
Surely a lot of you will be familiar with this one. I quite often forget my water bottle when I train because it’s always a right old rush around everything else I have to do. The day after these days I always feel a lot more sore.
I constantly preach to my clients to be drinking a full bottle of water during a session, this is one of the reasons why, it also lubricates your joints better. LUBE!

7. It will improve your digestion.
A healthy water balance will improve your digestion. Gets it all flowing. Lush!

8. You immune system will strengthen.
If your body is hydrated then your defence mechanisms will work a lot more efficiently

9. You will have a much better mood.
Often lack of water causes bad moods and headaches. This is one I know much too well!
